Summer 2026 Creative Drama Classes

Creative Drama Class Ages 5-9 This class approaches skills in story construction and character development with a focus on teamwork, problem-solving and active listening. Through acting exercises, group brainstorm and improvisation students gain skills to take risks, make strong character choices and develop character relationships. Non-performance based.

Creative Drama Class Ages 10 and Up This classes covers the fundamental skills for the stage in a supportive environment with a focus on character building through analyzing text for objectives, obstacles and tactics. With improvisation and short scene work students learn to trust instincts, create characters and story lines. Students gain skills in creative thinking and public speaking. Non-performance based.

Summer Production Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse Class (Instructor Approval Needed):

Our Production Class covers the fundamental skills for the stage in a supportive environment with a focus on projection, stage directions, change of emotions, and character building through table reading and ensemble work. Script distribution and read-through.
